Tabbed Bracket Product Information: The tabbed bracket is another option we have in our telescoping duct hanging line. The tabbed bracket is to be used when it is preferred over a self-nailing option. This bracket is to be installed in between two floor joists to support duct work. The tabbed bracket is held in place by a 1/4″ sheet metal screw on each end and can be used with both wooden joists and pre-engineered I-joists.
With two different lengths of tabbed bracket duct supports available, distances between joists from 11 inches, to 33 inches can be covered.
Our telescoping duct hangers are also equipped with a 1/4″ hole to fit a self-tapping sheet metal screw within the body of the duct hanger. This allows the installer to attach one more form of stability with the telescoping duct hangers.
